Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how subscriptions to the SlayCommerce application (the "Service") can be cancelled and when refunds may be available. It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service.

1. Subscriptions & Billing

The Service is offered on a recurring subscription basis. Unless stated otherwise at the point of purchase, fees are billed in advance for each billing cycle through the billing system of the platform where you installed the app (for example, Shopify Billing) or another payment processor we designate. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each cycle until cancelled.

2. Free Trials

Where a free trial is offered, you will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will begin and the applicable fee will be charged for the first billing cycle. The length and conditions of any trial are shown at sign-up.

3. How to Cancel

  • From your platform: uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin (or equivalent platform admin) cancels the subscription and stops future charges.
  • From within the Service: where available, you can downgrade or cancel from your account or billing settings.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. You will retain access to paid features until that cycle ends, after which your plan will not renew.

4. Refunds

Because subscription fees are billed in advance for a service that is immediately available, fees are generally non-refundable, and we do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods or for periods in which the Service was available but unused.

We may, at our discretion, issue a refund where:

  • you were charged due to a verified billing error on our part;
  • the Service was materially unavailable for an extended period due to a fault attributable to us; or
  • a refund is required by applicable law.

5. Platform-Processed Payments

Where your payments are processed by Shopify Billing or another platform, refunds (if any) are subject to that platform's processes and may be issued through it. We will coordinate eligible refunds with the relevant platform where required.

6. Price Changes

We may change subscription pricing from time to time. We will provide reasonable advance notice of any price increase, which will take effect on your next billing cycle. Continuing to use the Service after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.

7. Requesting a Refund or Help

To request a refund or ask a billing question, contact us at support@slaycommerce.com with your account details and the reason for your request. We aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe.
